More than 400 boys and girls participate each year in
Dave Baragrey's BEAR BASKETBALL program. Boys and girls
grades 3 through 12 participate in this popular league.
This program begins each fall with basketball
fundamentals classes for boys and girls in grades 3
through 6. Here they learn basic individual skills. The
Bear Basketball league for junior high and high school
boys also begins in the fall/ During winter months the
Community Center's gym is packed every weekend with Bear
Basketball leagues for grade school age boys and girls.

3rd Grade - 6th Grade Boys & Girls
Instructional Classes in October & November
October 2 thru November 6,2010 These are Instructional Classes. These classes
are intended to teach students to play basketball. All
players are encouraged to attend these classes. Recreational League in January & February -
Grades 3 - 6 Saturday or Sunday, January 8 thru February 20,
2011.
(Saturday games will begin at 9AM. Sunday games will
begin at 1PM) NEW: Tryouts in November for League and Travel
Team (Note: All Players will be drafted onto a
league team) 9th Grade - 12th Grade Boys & Girls
Recreational League for High School age boys & girls -
Grades 9 - 12 These league games are scheduled every Sunday
afternoon beginning Sunday, October 3 thru November 7,
2010 - Games begin at 1:30PM 7th - 8th Grade Boys & Girls
Recreational League for Junior High age boys & girls -
Grades 7 - 8 These league games are scheduled weekdays after
school
Girls League Begins in March. Boy's League Begins in
March.
